Ами Курата [倉田 亜美] — первокурсница колледжа без каких-либо ярких качеств или выдающихся умений. К своему удивлению, она начинает проявлять интерес к велосипедам и, в частности, велоспорту. На все свои сбережения девушка покупает велосипед, постепенно втягиваясь в мир шоссейных велогонок на длинные дистанции.
